Thanks for stopping by to read this, the inaugural post on the Logocaster blog. I’ve been working on Logocaster for the better part of a year and figure its time to get it into the hands of the small businesses, startups, developers and designers (I hope!) who will benefit most from using it.
First off, what is Logocaster? It is a logo design tool that makes it simple to explore tons of styles and design concepts in a short amount of time. Just punch in your company or product name and Logocaster immediately starts showing you logo concepts. See a font or color palette you like? Click to see more built using those elements. Don’t see anything you like? Keep on scrolling, I’m sure you’ll find something soon enough.
In short: it’s never been easier or faster to visualize this many custom logo designs.
For example, here are some quick ideas for Logocaster itself:
Not bad for a minute or two of experimentation.
As of today, Logocaster is available as an open alpha. This means that the core functionality of the site is built but there’s a long way to go before all of its features are done and the site is ready for primetime. Some parts will break and other things may still need some polish, but regardless, I now feel comfortable enough for early adopters like yourself to try it out and offer some feedback. On this blog, I’ll post about new features and changes as they go live on the site.
That’s all for now. If you like what you see let me know in the comments below or tweet your thoughts to @logocaster. I’m listening and look forward to chatting.
